Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Image Converter iOS application ("the App"), published by Alpdigital ("Alpdigital", "we", "us"), you ("you", "the user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement and these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.
3. Subscriptions and Lifetime
The App is free to download. Some features ("Pro features") require an active subscription or one-time Lifetime purchase. We currently offer:
- Pro Monthly — auto-renewing monthly subscription.
- Pro Yearly — auto-renewing annual subscription, optionally with a 7-day free trial.
- Pro Lifetime — one-time, non-consumable purchase.
Pricing is shown to you in your local currency before you confirm the purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID using StoreKit; payment is taken by Apple, not by us.
Auto-renewal: Auto-renewing subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Renewal is charged to your Apple ID account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered with a subscription, the trial begins when the purchase is confirmed. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you start a paid subscription. Cancelling before the trial ends prevents the paid period from starting.
Family Sharing: The Pro Lifetime purchase and Pro subscriptions are eligible for Apple Family Sharing where Apple supports it. Eligibility is determined by Apple.
4. Cancellation, refunds, and price changes
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then.
Refund requests are handled by Apple. Please submit refund requests through reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not have the ability to issue App Store refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing for future renewals. Apple will notify you of any material price increase and require you to consent to it before the next renewal.
5. Your content
The App processes photos and other image files you provide ("Your Content") on your device. We do not collect, upload, or claim ownership of Your Content. You retain all rights to Your Content. See our Privacy Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App:
- To process content you do not have the right to process;
- To create or distribute infringing, illegal, or harassing material;
- In any way that violates applicable law or any third party's rights;
- To attempt to bypass Apple's purchase or entitlement system.
7. Service availability
Because the App functions entirely on your device, normal operation does not require our servers to be online. The App may, however, contact Apple's StoreKit and App Store services for purchase verification and product catalogue updates, and the App may need to be updated to remain compatible with future iOS versions.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain in the App. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF DATA LOSS.
Image conversion is best-effort. Output file size, image fidelity, metadata handling, and supported sub-features depend on the underlying Apple frameworks and the source file. You are responsible for verifying converted outputs before deleting source files.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALPDIGITAL AND ITS SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alpdigital from any claim arising out of your use of the App in violation of these Terms or applicable law, including but not limited to claims that Your Content infringes any third party's rights.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged in the App or on this site. Continued use of the App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Termination
You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the App. We may suspend or terminate your access to specific features if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, liability, governing law) will continue to apply.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country of residence stated for Alpdigital in our App Store listing, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
14. Apple's standard EULA
In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. To the extent these Terms conflict with Apple's EULA on a matter regulated by that EULA, Apple's EULA applies.
