Frequently asked questions
The app converted, but the audio is silent.
Some videos have no audio track — for example, screen recordings made with the mic muted, or time-lapses. The app warns you when no audio is detected, but if you slipped past that warning, try a different source video.
I tapped Photos and waited a long time before anything happened.
For long videos in HEVC format, iOS may take 20-40 seconds to hand the file to the app. We show a "Preparing video…" card so you know it's working. If you still see the blank import screen, the wait predates an app update — please update from the App Store.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone or iPad: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Video to Mp3 → Cancel. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Apple's billing is independent of the app.
I bought Pro on another device. How do I unlock it here?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the paywall in the app, and tap Restore Purchases. StoreKit will pull your previous transaction and unlock Pro features.
Where are my converted files saved?
The app saves them inside its own sandboxed Documents folder. You can find them in the History tab and share or save them to Files from there. iOS will also include the app's folder when you back up your device.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes. All conversion runs on-device. The only operations that need a connection are downloading a video that lives in iCloud Drive but hasn't been pulled to the device yet, and verifying an in-app purchase.
I want a refund.
Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us — we never see your payment details. Use Apple's process at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Reporting a privacy concern
If you believe the app is doing something with your data that contradicts our privacy policy, please email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy concern" and we will investigate within 72 hours.
