Common Questions

Where are exported files saved?

Edited and cleaned files are saved in the app's Documents folder under ExifTools Exports. You can also save supported outputs to Photos or share them through iOS.

Does the app upload photos?

No. EXIF Tools processes selected photos on device.

Why can some metadata not be edited?

Metadata write support depends on file format and iOS ImageIO behavior. JPEG and HEIC are the primary edit targets. RAW files may be read-only.

How do I test Pro features?

In production, Pro is unlocked through App Store subscriptions. In debug builds, the app includes a developer-only Pro simulation toggle.
