EXIF Tools is built as a local-first photo metadata utility. The app is designed to view, edit, remove, export, and save metadata on your device.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data through EXIF Tools. The app does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

Photos and Metadata

Photos you select are processed on device. EXIF Tools reads metadata only for the photos or files you choose to import. Edited and cleaned copies are saved locally in the app export folder unless you choose to save them to Photos or share them through iOS.

Permissions

• Photo Library access is used to import selected photos and to save edited or cleaned copies when you choose that action.
• Location access is used only when you choose to write current coordinates into a photo.
• Files access is used only for files you select through the system picker.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment card details. Purchase status is used only to unlock Pro features in the app.

Local Settings

The app stores preferences such as language, theme, background, privacy profile, onboarding state, and debug-only local settings using on-device storage.

Sharing

If you choose to share an exported image, iOS presents the system share sheet. The destination you choose may have its own privacy practices.

Children

EXIF Tools is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
